Inspirational. Fearless. Ambitious. Thought-Provoking.

About

BIO

Inspirational. Fearless. Ambitious. Thought-provoking. All, the unique embodiments of story-teller, serial traveler, public speaker, and 2nd generation co-owner of Miller3 Consulting, Inc., Lauren Miller. As a proud Atlanta native and 5th generation entrepreneur, she is inherently destined to become one of the most revered influencers of her day, inspiring young people all over the world to live their best life according to their own standard.

Called to tap into her inner fearless explorer in her youth, Lauren took her first solo trip on a plane, at age 5, after her mom was hand selected to serve in the Clinton Administration. Her mom’s bold decision in accepting such a prestigious opportunity thrust Lauren into a world of uprooting and “new normals,'' early on. Moreover, her journeying back and forth between Atlanta (where she lived with her father, a well-established and accomplished entrepreneur) and D.C. (to be with her mom) through the age of 18, served as both the foundation and true empowerment that would later encourage Lauren to quit her job and become her own boss, too. In 2013, she birthed her first brainchild, CAN’T STAY PUT.

Through CAN’T STAY PUT, Lauren (affectionately dubbed Lomillie by close friends) created an inspirational travel and lifestyle platform aimed at influencing black millennials to elevate their travel horizons while also motivating them to “not stay put” as they, too, set out to create their own lanes of success. And influence she did, becoming one of the first pioneers and voices of the black millennial travel movement, cultivating a community of over twenty-five thousand millennial travelers and doers around the world.

The CSP brand, an immersion of travel, culture, multimedia storytelling, education and pure innovation, lead Lauren to be featured on major media outlets such as Essence, Travel Noire, Huffington Post, and Sheen Magazine. Lauren also served as a consultant and experience designer for Travel Noire and launched and led their first international experience in Salvador, Brazil. Her love for cultural and community influence mixed with her explorative ambition developed lanes for additional travel-inspired projects such as No Flight Necessary--an interactive event which provides its global guests a culturally rich experience with the people, food, and art of five different countries--, the Go. Do. Be. Mastermind Group--a group for drivenindividuals equally interested in harnessing goal-oriented, accountable and supportive resources for their success--, and CSP Experiences--a collective of international travel assignments rooted in empowerment, education, entrepreneurship, and exploration.

In the midst of her CSP travels, including that of becoming a highly sought-out speaker and marketing consultant (landing her in some 40 countries), Lauren would experience an unexpected shift that would reshape her understanding of “sacrifice” while in the flow of life.

Upon learning of her father’s terminal illness, Lauren transitioned into his full-time caretaker making his life her first priority. This period undoubtedly summoned her innate strength and resilience as her day-to-day ( communicating with doctor’s offices, setting appointments, keeping his medication schedules, overseeing his assisting staff and other personal affairs) evolved into full-on succession planning, where her dad groomed her to take over both his legacy and his business (Miller3 Consulting, Inc.) She found herself juggling this newly inherited responsibility with running her CSP brand, and somewhere in between, finding time to process her own life and emotions around what was inevitably taking place in front of her. As she prayed, worked and marched her way through it all, after her father’s transition, it was obvious that she was in much need of a pause. And so she did.

During her hiatus, Lauren dedicated time to reflecting, healing and securing resources for what she calls her “2nd phase” of life. Today, armed with a deeper understanding of her 150-year lineage, Lauren is on a mission to bring a harmonious balance to her new normal of serial entrepreneurship and tending to her whole being. Serving alongside her brother in running their father’s company, she’s building her own company, LRMiller & Co. which will serve as the parent company for ventures such as the CSP relaunch and In The Room With Legacy and other flagship endeavors aimed at providing educational resources, digital products/experiences, and merchandise for those of the black millennial community.

Moreover, Lauren aspires to curate spaces for informing and educating her peers and community on the importance of building legacy, succession and estate planning, and becoming stewards of the legacies left by their ancestors. Additionally, she seeks to build on the awareness within the black community regarding dealing with the emotions of loss, and the sharing in healthy and effective tools we can employ during times of grief.

“My love for humankind and helping others is my driving force. I am blessed to be able to honor my very real and assorted life experiences–all provided through who my parents were, what they stood for, their aspirational fortitude, their willingness to provide me a level of untapped exposure, and their desire to uphold our family legacy. With that, I am ultimately committed to using my privilege to help others who look like me.” – Lauren “Lo” R. Miller
